Cillarose Designs was started in 2016 as a way to showcase the artistic creations of Drucilla Nelson.

Drucilla, a daughter of creative parents has had an interest in art and design for most of her life.

From an early age Drucilla watched her mother create and make her own clothes, then proceeded to replicate the same creations for her dolls. Then in her teens she began designing and making her own clothes  and went on to showcase some of her designs in local fashion shows.

Drucilla began her bag making journey in 2019, her first project was a themed pencil case for one of her colleagues. Her initial inspiration came from companies such as Owl Be Sewing and More Me Know.
